Small Batch - Handcrafted - Premium Quality

Welcome To Crossing Creek Farms!

A regenerative family farm committed to raising non-GMO, soy-free, grass-fed meats and eggs.

We are passionate about producing great food for our family’s table and yours. With a commitment to producing pasture raised, organic fed and soy free everything through regenerative farming practices, our first passion and focus is grass-fed meats and eggs.

Our second passion is hosting guests on the farm with unique farm stays through our RV sites and private open air cabins campsite.

Our third passion is sharing the experience of really great food through our on-site commercial kitchen. From ancestral, traditional foods like bone broth and lard to exceptional treats like Einkorn cinnamon rolls made with organic ingredients-eating nutrient rich foods doesn't have to be tasteless, boring or inconvenient and we hope to show you that through our kitchen offerings.

We specialize in small batch, handcrafted and premium quality by taking our animals’ nutrition to the next level with fresh, home grown sprouts. These sprouts are called fodder and you can read more about the process here.

Our farm journey to produce nutrient-dense foods is not complete and we hope you will join us along the way. We are proud to sell our products direct to the consumer. As we continue to grow all aspects of our business, we encourage you to get on our email subscriber list to ensure you’re the first to know about all of our offerings.

Our Story

The Family

In December of 2012, our family purchased 125 acres located in south central Tennessee, Bedford County. With no permanent driveway, two creeks to cross to access the land, barbed wire fence everywhere and an old hay barn, there was much work ahead to be done. We have made many improvements over the years but the two creeks offer the same beauty. Now two bridges and a driveway cross over the two creeks before they merge into one, producing the name Crossing Creeks Farm. Shortly after getting married (like literally as soon as we returned home from our very short honeymoon), my parents, Reid and Susan, approached Shane and I with the idea of purchasing land together to start a generational farm. Looking at them cross-eyed, we began to discuss possibilities, and excitement arose in all of us. Little did we know that it would be five years later before we actually purchased the farm. But during that time, we gained so much knowledge and passion. As our love for great tasting, nutrient-dense beef grew, we began to see the need to raise our own 100% grass-fed beef and much more.

Once Noah, our oldest son, blessed our lives, the vision for the farm became clearer. We longed for a place to raise our children with the privilege and responsibility of producing their own food. We loved the idea of them living just a short walk from their grandparent’s home. It’s pretty rare these days to see multi-generations living on the same property-working side by side, raising and schooling children together, and eating regular meals together- but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. It comes with great sacrifice (not every son in-law like Shane would sign up for this lifestyle) but also great reward. Having both our sons, Noah and Caleb here full time, keeps us all on our toes!

With what began as a desire to feed our family the best possible food, a passion has grown for sharing our food with our community. We love the relationships and fellowship that have developed here in our farm store from selling our products directly to the consumer. Sharing our products, journey and farm with you all is truly a joy for us.

As I think back on that first conversation-sitting together in Mom and Dad’s living room-fresh out of college, just married and no children yet, I think to myself “Boy, we really didn’t know what we were saying yes to but it’s been an amazing journey with much more to come.”

We are so excited for you to join our journey and commitment to “healing our community one bite at a time.”

- xoxo, Elizabeth

The Store

In the summer of 2019, we were blessed with the ability to open our own farm store right here at Crossing Creeks Farm. The store has quickly become a place of fellowship and community. We love the friendships that have developed, and our customers have enjoyed getting to know their farmers on a personal level. We pride ourselves in full transparency of all the products we produce and carry in our store. Our current store hours are Thursdays & Fridays 10-6 and Saturdays 10-4. You can shop our store online 24/7 and select a pick up time at checkout for during or outside our store hours. Or we can ship your order!

100% grass-fed beef

We raise registered Southpoll Grass Cattle as a 100% grass-fed cow to calf operation. With the ability to rotate our herd to fresh grass daily, we are able to maintain herd and soil health, which in turn produces healthy food. The herd is supplemented with free-choice organic kelp, sea salt, garlic and minerals. This produces an amazingly delicious beef. Remember: “cooking it low and slow is the way to go”. We do sell registered Southpoll cattle for breeding stock. If interested, please email us to learn what is available or be added to our wait list.

pastured pork

We raise a good ol’ fashioned line of heritage pigs that are a mix of all the great ones- Mangalitsa, Old Spot, and some Shire. These pigs are hardy, great mothers, with docile personalities. And fed only the best! Organic, soy & corn free feed, veggies and home grown sprouts with access to fresh grass daily. This creates an outstanding pork with great flavor and texture. We hope to have piglets available for purchase in the future so send us an email if you are interested in raising some for yourself.

pastured poultry

From ducks to chickens to seasonal turkeys, all our poultry is raised on fresh grass with access to bugs, worms, and soy & corn free feeds and granite grit. This all makes our eggs and meat naturally higher in Omega-3’s, vitamin E and A, with deep orange yolks and impeccable taste. When slow-cooked, the meat falls right off the bone and produces a rich broth. It’s delicious!

registered Jersey cattle

Working with an intimate herd, we are breeding and raising A2 Jersey dairy cattle. Using a 100% grass-fed diet supplemented with a fermented alfalfa by Alfahay, kelp, sea salt and minerals, we are able to maintain milking our cows only once a day and producing a sweet consistently flavored milk. With a passion to restore the family milk cow, we enjoy helping others through the process of bringing their own milk cow home. We are here to help educate others in owning and milking a dairy cow-whether or not you purchase one from us.

organic feed

For nearly a decade, we have proudly used organic livestock feeds and minerals as well as garden supplies on our farm. We are honored to help bring these wonderful products to Middle Tennessee so that all our friends and neighbors have access to them for their own farms, gardens and homes. We love providing certified organic, non GMO, and soy free in all our products. Feel free to shop online to see if we have your favorite product available.
